Do you need a Hi-Tech Treadmill to get the best workout? Perhaps you’ve been an advent keep fit enthusiast for many years. You may never done any certified personal trainer coursers, but you have gave plenty of advice to friends and family members over the years regarding exercise and the best types of machines and equipment to use.
For home fitness, Weslo is the top choice in the entry level of the market. Manufacturers have a knack of adding the latest gizmos to their treadmills. So they add a touchscreen to the console, then a color monitor, then an internet monitor, then a HD internet monitor, then a separate tv monitor, then they increase the size.
The internet and TV’s aren’t new features, + people get the wow factor they can work out and watch tv or browse the internet at the same time. Are manufactures laughing all the way to the bank?
Yes and no. It depends what you want. It’s a lifestyle choice, or more importantly an income choice. The higher you go up with a Hi-Tech Treadmill the better the cushioning and overall feel of a treadmill gets, well it’s supposed to anyway, you need to research lots of treadmill reviews and check out consumer feedback.
But for some there’s something wildly wrong about this entertainment while-you-work-out ideology. The idea of physical fitness is to get you out and away from those trappings. Appreciate the joy of exercise and you will soon get away from those vices, and you will probably enjoy them a whole lot more during your downtime. Well, a little music is nice, and a fan, and maybe even an automated ramp……
So back to Weslo – they have 3 main treadmills. The best is in our humble opinion the G5.9 model.
So perhaps Weslo should be forced to take it off the shelves. So use it at your own risk. Next up they make 5.2 treadmill, and to be honest there is no real difference in performance between the 2. Both have a manual incline which means you get to burn more calories as the effort of running up a hill is a lot more than running on a flat surface.
Everything You Need?
So these 2 treadmills have everything you need to get going at home. The only difference between them and other models is things like an automated ramp and better shock absorption. Apart from all the extra distracting add-ons these treadmills will do the same job. Unless you like distractions and you can start looking at FreeMotion treadmills. Like they say choice is a wonderful thing.

It doesn’t have the finer things, namely automated ramp, advanced workout and entertainment features, but it does top out at 9mph, which is enough to provide a good workout.
