The Gold’s 720 Gym Trainer treadmill gets you closer to a gym feel than many other popular treadmills. The max weight limit has been raised to 300 pounds, a commercial motor has been added which will power you through all of the generously supplied 18 workout apps. A running treadmill, the deck is also a spacious 20 inches by 55 inches. You also get a fan to boot and “airstride” cushioning to comfort your joints which allows the deck to flex as you put your foot down. For entertainment purposes there is a mp3/ipod port in the control panel. Good enough so runners with long legs won’t feel cramped. The warranty is not bad, a lifetime for the sturdy frame, and 12 months for parts and labor.
There is a nice multi-windown LED display console and the 720 can speed up to 10mph. Plus the crowning offer is an automated incline for adjustment while you are walking or running. The construction of this machine is super sturdy. Gold’s Gym is famous for heavy hitting gyms after all so we’ve all come to expect sturdy equipment from them over the years and they seldom disappoint.
Heart rate monitors are also present in this machine, and it feels real smooth to run on.
It is for someone who wants a treadmill that is built to last, and is more forgiving on the joints than your standard entry level treadmills. If you want to listen to music as you workout and have a wide variety of apps, and monitor your heart beat and check your stats all onboard with the one touch controls, this is ideal.
