Confidence Power Plus Treadmill Review – Basic But Cheerful?
In the world we now live in health and fitness is at the forefront. From the inspiration Arnold and the classic 1970’s bodybuilders gave to the modern age, and the impact Jane Fonda had on home workout devotees (including men!) from the 1980s, the population of the world is now fixated on living better, longer healthier lives.
Oh and probably before that looking good. Are you part of this craze for fitness and well-being? Do you feel like you need to lose some weight and work out your heart muscles? If the bug is catching on to you then maybe the Confidence Power Plus Motorized Electric Treadmill is just the machine for you.
What is it about this Treadmill?
This treadmill is the best thing for those getting up from their couches for the first time and want to start getting into shape. It is a good start up that is not big and cumbersome to move around. It weights 53lbs which is much lighter than most treadmills on the market. Its design comes with wheels and allows the owner of the machine to move it around with ease. Another super handy feature with this treadmill is it can be folded this makes it easier to pack up and put elsewhere after a good work out.
The Power Plus treadmill from Confidence is powered by a 600W power motor which should be good on power saving so will not dent the pocket much with power bills. In size, the treadmill comes as 49x24x11 inches which allows it to fit anywhere really. It makes it the ideal treadmill for small spaces and when it is packed away it also does not take up much room, it can even fit under the bed. It is a real space saver. It is possible to work out in front of the TV or even in your office at work, as long as you get to shower afterwards.
The owner is able to see their progress and have full control of their machine using the LED screen that is right in front of them. The machine allows you to turn up the speed when you want to run faster or reduce it and give you the chance to power walk to fitness. You can also decide how long you want to exercise with one button and the other button allows you to determine the speed. Working out has never been so easy.
The weight capacity of this machine is 250 pounds. So there is no need to worry about being too heavy for the treadmill. It is very easy to assemble because it comes practically assembled. There are only a few steps to follow when it arrives and in minutes you are plugged in and ready to go.
Confidence Power Plus Pros
The first pro that I must mention is that the top front frame can be removed and you can lay the deck right in front of your desk. Working and exercising has never been made easier. You can get your job done while you power walk and monitor work screens.
How great is that? This feature you can never get with other larger treadmills. With its small weight it really can fit anywhere, and its mobility is great because you can move it quickly and efficiently.
It comes in ready to set up and run. It does not need someone to come in with it to set up. It has basic easy to understand instructions and you will not consume all your brainpower and energy trying to understand how it works and what goes where.
Once it is received you can hop on start shedding those calories. It is not too technical so it is easy to understand. Very few buttons to confuse a person.
Where there is a pro there is con. Unfortunately due to the size of the machine, it is not for over enthusiastic seasoned runners. It is mostly suited for those who are just getting started and want to walk or jog. Also due to the size of the treadmill when the belt moves around this tends to make the machine move as well in an uneasy manner as it is so light.
It is also not the quietest of machines, unfortunately; it is louder than majority of the machines on the market and may make it difficult for you to concentrate on anything else. The quality of the machine is not top of the range which means it is not durable for high paced work, seasoned runners would wear it down quickly.
The treadmill does not allow for people over 250 pounds unfortunately; it has to discriminate in this area as it is so light. This means it really is for a specific target market and not for all. The machine is also not meant for tall people. Due to the design of the handles tall people will not find this machine comfortable because they would need to bend down to hold on to the bars.
Another unfortunate thing about this treadmill is that it sometimes gets a technical glitch where it pauses while you are working out and it means you have to get off and restart it for you to continue. This would be very annoying. But if you don´t mind a few glitches this could be for you.
Treadmill gets the job done for that initial start-up. It will help with a light cardio workout and general fitness. This is suited to walkers and perhaps senior citizens who don’t weigh 200-250 pounds. So if you are in this bracket I would recommend this treadmill, it is a real space saver. Once a person starts developing a real propensity for running then they can trade up to another more suitable machine.
